Annual auditions are held for new singers in June
in order to evaluate and place singers in the appropriate
choir level. During the audition process, the children
are evaluated in small groups. Children are placed
into one of the choir levels based on ability and
age. The Danville Girls Chorus is a non-profit organization
and is run entirely by membership dues, fund raisers
and parental volunteers.
In order to join the chorus, the girl must meet
her singer expectations
and the parents must meet their financial
and volunteer
obligations. We will begin scheduling our June
auditions for the 2011-2012 season in April, 2011.
